The wear-resistant ZTA alumina ceramic lining is widely used in processing equipment such as hoppers, rubber belts, pipes, elbows, valves, fan blades, chutes, ball mills, feeders, silos, etc. in steel, thermal power, cement, coal, mining, port chemicals and other industries.
Definition of ZTA ceramics:
Zirconia toughened alumina ceramics, also known as ZTA, is made by adding pure Zr02 zirconia into 99% alumina to form ZrO2 toughened alumina ceramics. When zirconia is added properly, the toughness of alumina can be significantly improved. It can be said zirconia adding it is the most widely used method to increase the toughness of alumina ceramics, and the adding proportion is about 20%.
Because ZTA toughened aluminum oxide ceramics is one material by adding certain amount of zirconia ceramic ingredients into aluminum oxide. The wear resistance and toughness are between aluminum oxide ceramics and zirconia ceramics.
